Let's celebrate Alex's birthday (Aug. 24) this month
- Participate in our birthday campaign 2021 by the Alex O'Loughlin Fans for Organ Donation

If you are a fan of Alex's show "Hawaii Five-0" and love its home Hawaii, this year's birthday campaign is perfect for you!

By making a donation to Legacy of Life Hawaii (The Hawaiian counterpart of Donate Life) to support this great non-profit organisation in their efforts to save lives through organ donation, you have the chance to win a huge book about "Hawaii Five-0" (360 large-format pages). The book is not available to buy anywhere, as CBS would not allow "commercial use" of their intellectual property. Therefore, the  book is an exclusive gift for selected cast and crew members, as well as huge fans of the show.

Since quite a few fans (primarily friends and fansite followers) have already received a copy of my gift book (only 2 books are still stuck on the way to Australia, as far as I know), the chances of winning one of the few remaining copies are pretty good for those fans who did not get one yet. All you need to do is follow the instructions below the second collage.

If you are one of the happy fans who already received a gift book from me and would like to thank me for it, please make a donation to Legacy of Life Hawai'i, if you can (It is not a must!). I think that's the perfect way to thank the people of Hawaii for their support of our favorite show for ten years. I also believe that his fans' donations to a life-saving charity in Hawaii are a great gift to make Alex happy on his birthday as he loves Hawaii and its people - and is also an organ donor and organ donation ambassador.

Please note that the books will be personalized with your name inside. They also include a statement to let recipients know that it is not permitted to sell the books.

The campaign ends Saturday, August 28 at midnight (Hawaiian time).

How to participate in the campaign in 2 steps:

1) Make a donation to "Legacy of Life Hawai'i"

Donate directly to the non-profit organisation through its website:

In the "Comments" field, please indicate the reason for your donation: "Alex O'Loughlin Fans for Organ Donation birthday campaign".
 

2) Let us know about your donation by sending an email

Please send an email to my personal T-Online email address (if you have it) or to our group email address:  alexoloughlinfansorgandonation@gmail.com

As an email reference, please write "I have participated in the birthday campaign" (or a similar text) and let us know how much you donated. We like to keep track of the amount raised through our campaigns. Participants often ask how much was raised in total but we don't know unless all the participants tells us. We don't want to bother Legacy of Life Hawai'i by asking them to add up the donations for us. We might only ask for their confirmation that the final winners of the books actually made a donation.

If you have not received a book yet and would like to win one, it is important to send us your postal address so I can send you a book at the end of the campaign if you are one of the lucky winners.

Please note that your name will be announced on our fansites and Facebook pages if you win a book.
