The collage is made with some of my own photos - or rather screencaps from my
videos since I just kept the camera rolling at the press row in order to not
miss the chance for an interview. Those of you who've followed my page for a
while know that I never got an interview with Alex and most of my favorite cast
members despite being in the press row at the last two premieres where I was
helping out friends from the press who couldn't be there. To be honest, I'm
still frustrated about it. Well, at least I got one of those winks from Alex (cif.
bottom left) and some good screencaps from my videos.

fans with 5 repeats on Kabel Eins - The H50 marathon starts at 8:15 p.m.!
Fans in Germany can enjoy the following repeats tonight: Ep. 6.05 (at 8:15pm),
ep. 6.06 (at 9:10pm), ep. 8.03 (at 10:05pm), ep. 3.22 (at 11:05pm) and ep. 3.23
at midnight. Afterwards, these repeats are repeated again for those fans who
just can't get enough of the show - and probably suffer from sleeplessness.

A look back at Steve with Lincoln
Cole in H50 ep. 10.21.
I still can't believe that there were serious considerations to replace Alex's
character Steve McGarrett by Lincoln Cole if the show had been renewed for
Season 11. You can give actor Lance Gross his own show if you like but there is
absolutely no way that Alex as McGarrett could have simply been replaced by
Lance or anyone else
after being the no. 1 on H50 for 10 seasons. I'm glad that CBS realized that the
show would not work without Alex as McGarrett who is simply not replaceable and
that it was better to stop the show after Alex left. And knowing how close Alex
and Scotty are, I assume that Scotty probably wouldn't have wanted to go on
without Alex, anyway.
MAY 4, 2020:
It's McDanno Monday with our favorite duo saying Goodbye to each other (temporarily) in the series finale of H50!
This scene from the series finale of
H50 should have been the final scene according to many fans (incl. myself)...
Steve's smile when he reads Danno's message would have been the perfect ending
giving us hope that Steve would soon miss his boy Danno, too, and come back home...

Happy Hump Day with McDanno in H50 ep. 9.03 (The episode which aired as a repeat in Germany on Tuesday)!
German H50 fans who want to enjoy a

While I still mourn over the
end of my favorite show H50, I'd like to congratulate Magnum P.I. and MacGyver
which both got renewed for another season - just in time before their season
finales this Friday on CBS!
Thus, the Magnum P.I. fans get to enjoy at least 3 seasons and the MacGyver fans
get to enjoy at least 5 seasons. I particularly look forward to another season
of Magnum P.I. bringing Hawaii into my home every week. And the cast is
super-nice, too - I know because I talked to several of the actors at the SOTB9
and SOTB10 premieres. And let's not forget that several actors that we love from
H50 (Dennis Chun, Kimee Balmilero, Taylor Wily, Shawn Mokuahi-Garnett) have
found a new home on Magnum P.I. in time before H50 ended.

Here's a great recommendation for
H50 fans to make the best of National Travel and Tourism Week (U.S.) during the
lockdown:
While you are stuck at home due to COVID-19, make sure to plan your next trip to
Hawaii including a fun experience with "Trident Adventures" - a company that is
owned by two real Navy SEALs and co-owned by the pretend Navy SEALs Alex and
Beulah. I assume that Alex and Beulah are only "silent" partners, so you should
not expect them to be out there on the excursions with you but maybe you'll get
lucky. You never know :-) Quite a few cast members of H50, as well as fans, have
enjoyed and recommended the diving excursions and other activities offered by
"Trident Adventures".
Planning ahead and following the social media pages of "Trident Adventures" will
give you something to look forward to. These SEALs are waiting and totally ready
for you as soon as tourists can travel to the islands again. It will still take
a while until travelling will be possible without problems because most
countries abroad still have travel bans in effect, too - but, sooner or later,
we will all be able to enjoy vacations abroad again and have fun like the cast
of H50 and their buddies from "Trident Adventures" who also made guest
appearances on H50 ep. 10.07 (The episode written and directed by Alex).

Happy Birthday to Peter whom I wish
lots of success with his remaining shows - now that my favorite show H50 is over!
Unlike other fans, I'm still very grateful about 10 years of H50 and will not
allow the final 1.5 minutes of the series to ruin 10 years of fun and great
entertainment for me - even though I absolutely agree with the many fans and
long-time supporters and fansite admins who did not like the final scene and
thought it made zero sense. But those who post hateful comments about Peter now
and even want to boycot his other shows, should remember that we would not have
had a decade of H50, at all, without Peter - and that he wrote almost all of the
scripts for those episodes that fans have repeatedly called their top-favorites,
such as the pilot or the 100th and 200th episode. So don't be mad and silly -
just turn off ep. 10.22 right before the final scene (if you rewatch the series
finale) and everything will be fine. And, by the way, nobody forces H50 fans to
watch Magnum P.I. but I love it, too, and therefore I will continue to watch it
because I think it's a feelgood show with a very likeable cast. While it will
always be "just" the No. 2 for me, I don't see any reason why I should not enjoy
it. Besides, the show gives the local H50 actors (Kimee, Dennis, Taylor and
Shawn) the opportunity to continue acting as the same characters that fans
always loved on H50. I think it's a win for both - the actors and the fans. I
only hope that there will never be any mentionning of either Cath or Lincoln on
Magnum P.I. because both of their storylines in the last scenes of H50 were a
slap in the face for many of us longtime Alex/Steve/H50 fans.

P.S.: I thought it would be a good idea to share the video and photos since a
certain fan criticized my recent post about Daniel's blood plasma donation. She
wrote that it has nothing to do with Alex and organ donation and that Alex only
supports organ donation but not blood (plasma) donation. Well, the video and
photos prove her wrong. Besides, blood, tissue and organ donation are all
closely related. It would make no sense to support just one of them.

honor and thank nurses and caregivers worldwide!
If you know any nurses, make sure to give them a huge "Thanks" - They always
more than deserve it, not only in times of pandemics. When you or a loved one
have needed or gotten a transplant, you have certainly experienced long hospital
stays and have come to appreciate the great work and dedication of the hospital
staff taking care of patients during the difficult waiting period for a
life-saving transplant and during recovery. So let them know how grateful you
are and that you are not taking their work for granted. Also support the fight
for better payment, better protection and better working conditions for nurses
and caregivers!

I found so many pictures when I made the collages for the International Day of
Families that I ended up making several more collages. I suppose you don't mind

The books (with his theater plays) are signed by him personally which makes them
kind of special. One of them ("The performance of heartbreak") is already
available, the other one ("This isn't 40") can be preordered and will be

is a bit expensive but, to me, it's worth it because Scotty has always been one

He explains how important martial arts and, in particular, jiu-jitsu have been for his personal growth and
how they have influenced his approach to life, in general. He also speaks briefly about Hawaii Five-0 and what he might

to do. He's currently enjoying his time at home with his family and the only

A look at organ donation statistics (U.S.) shows clearly that too many patients are waiting for an organ - and 20 of them die each day, waiting in vain. Therefore, please register as an organ donor! The more donors, the more patients have a chance to get a life-saving organ before it's too late.

German fans
who are off work today can enjoy their daily dose of H50 on Kabel Eins at 2:05
p.m.!
I'm off work on Monday/Tuesday to reduce overtime and, thus, will be able to
enjoy the H50 repeats which air Monday to Friday on Kabel Eins around 2:05 p.m.
Today's episode is 4.16 which includes a great scene with Steve and Lou talking
about Steve's reasons for staying in Hawaii after his return 10 years ago. If
the series had continued past season 10, I would have hoped that Steve would
remember Lou's words from this conversation.
