(H50's Abby Dunn)!
If you live in Germany, make sure to get your tickets for the Munich Comic
Con on May 27 & 28.
Both Julie Benz and Michelle Hurd (Lou Grover's wife Renee) will be there and
you can get their autographs or photos with them. I will definitely be there and
look forward to meeting these two great actresses from my favorite show. Of
course, I wouldn't mind at all if they brought Grace and the Five-0 boys with
them :-). I saw
Julie in Hawaii last year while she was shooting the motorbike scene for H50 ep.
6.24 on Merchant Street (cif. collage) but I didn't get to talk to her back
then. Now I have a chance to do so and tell her that we'd love to see more of
her character Abby Dunn in Season 8 of H50. She will be in the upcoming Season 7
finale which airs May 12 on CBS.

CBS has posted a video clip from
the Watch! magazine with Alex talking about Hawaii and how it's inspiring to him
Sadly, the video doesn't work outside the U.S. - There are fans who managed to
watch it in Europe on mobile devices though. One fan has posted a version that
is viewable worldwide but I'm hesitant to share it to avoid getting the fan into
trouble since CBS doesn't seem to want non-US fans to see it. Sniff :-( Just

To be honest, I'd definitely prefer to just watch the episode on DVD but if you
happen to be suffering from sleeplessness, H50 should be your prime choice to
spend the night in the most pleasant way :-) It's the episode with the elephant,
Jerry's sister & more. Please ignore the text at the bottom of the collage -
this repeat does not air on Friday! On Friday, we get to enjoy a brandnew Season
7 H50 episode on CBS.

You better not miss tonight's episode "He ke'u na ka 'alae a Hina" (A croaking
by Hina's mudhen). It definitely looks like a great one! Besides, there'll only
be one more episode (The finale!) next week before fans will suffer from the
annual withdrawal symptoms until Season 8 will start late in September.

About the episode numbers for
H50's penultimate episode (airing tonight) and next week's finale of Season 7:
As you may have noticed, the video clips from the Season 7 finale say that it's
episode 7.24. That's because the finale was filmed before the penultimate
episode that airs today. I hope I'm not getting fans confused by using the
numbers in consecutive order. I put 7.24 in the collage for tonight's
penultimate episode since I believe it's less confusing to use the numbers in
the same order as the episodes air on television. I don't really want to modify
the collages again, to be honest - I have three ready for tonight's episode and
eight collages for the Season finale because there were plenty of promo pics to
use :-)

Don't miss the new Five-0 Redux

I've watched the episode twice so far and although it may get boring that I'm
repeating myself, I just have to say that this was another excellent episode. As
you can imagine, I loved the scenes with Steve and the prisoner. And in between
all those serious moments, I had some really good laughs thanks to Gerard Hirsch
:-)
Once again, I agree with Wendie about the stunts and fights that have gotten
rather brutal since Eric Norris took over as stunt-coordinator. I sure hope Alex
survives another season without further injuries - thanks to his awesome
stunt-doubles Paul and Brendan. It's good to know that Alex got a little break
in last week's episode in which he had much fewer scenes and no dangerous
ones involving fights and stunts.

This week's post for the "Alex
O'Loughlin Fans for Organ Donation" page is actually about ALS Awareness Month
Our fan group's objective is to help save and improve the lives of patients -
primarily through organ donation. But I think that lives can also be saved and
improved by preventing and curing life-threatening diseases - such as ALS or
cancer. Prevention and cures might also make organ donation unnecessary in some
cases. So it makes sense to post about such diseases and related charities from
time to time.
As many fans of Alex know, his mother-in-law died from ALS, and his son Lion
sadly never got to know his grandma. The family of Alex's wife Malia has been
supporting the ALS Association in its efforts to raise funds for ALS research to
find a cure for this awful disease. Alex has participated in a couple of events,
such as the Hawaii Walk to Defeat ALS (This year, it will be on Nov.4) or the
ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. While progress has been made in ALS research, thanks
to funds raised in the a.m. events, there's still a long way to go in defeating
ALS.
Find out more about this terrible disease and make a donation to the ALS
Association, if you want to support the fight against ALS and to help ALS
patients.

As mentionned before, Julie Benz (Abby Dunn) and Michelle Hurd (Renee Grover)
will both be at the first Comic Con in Munich on May 27 and 28. Tickets for the
event - and, in particular, for photo-shoots with the stars - should be bought
online, in advance. This may be the only chance for many fans to see someone
from H50 live and to ask them what it's like to work on the show - especially
with Daniel and Chi who play Julie's and Michelle's on-screen partners. Besides,
the tickets for the Comic Con are easier to afford than a trip to Hawaii - and
even if you can afford to travel there, you have no guarantee that you'll see
H50 shooting in the streets of Honolulu. So get your Comic Con tickets now and
show some aloha to Julie and Michelle. They might tell their Five-0 colleagues
back home about the great German fans and make them want to visit Germany, too -

Okay - I officially give up on
TNT and its schedule for H50 repeats since it keeps changing!
Forget about my earlier post (which I've deleted!) about a repeat at 4:00am on
Thursday because there is no H50 according to the current online schedule which
was obviously changed again since I last looked at the schedule several days ago.
When I wanted to view it before work, the TNT website got hung up and I couldn't
check to see if H50 was still scheduled. I just found out now that it isn't,
anymore. It really makes much more sense to view the H50 DVDs because you can
choose when and which episode you want to watch.

Bad news for German fans of
Michelle Hurd (Renee Grover on H50) - She will NOT be at the Munich Comic Con
I got a refund notification for the ticket I had bought for a photoshoot with
Michelle. She cannot attend the Comic Con since she'll be busy shooting -
probably for "Blindspot".
Good
news from Germany for H50 Boss Peter's second show
"MacGyver" which will premiere on Sat.1 in June!
MacGyver will air on Monday nights before H50 and, hopefully, Sat.1 will be
smart enough to start Season 7 of H50 on the same day as the Season 1 premiere
of MacGyver to ensure that the crossover episode later on will air on the same
night, too. Although the crossover was only on MacGyver, there were a few short
references to it on H50 in the conversations between Five-0.

So sorry for Justin Sundquist,
Alex's former stunt-double on H50 :-(
I had heard about him getting hit by a car on set last year. A fan who had
witnessed the accident mentionned it on Twitter first and said he was picked up
by an ambulance. According to short news articles, Justin had only minor
injuries. It certainly doesn't sound like that to me. Justin was an excellent
stuntman, and to find out that he won't be able to work anymore because of his
injuries from H50 makes me really sad. I just hope that stunt-coordinator Eric
Norris and whoever is responsible for safety on set will keep the actors and
stunt-team safe from now on. Otherwise, I'll personally travel to Hawaii and/or
L.A. and kick the butts of anyone who is responsible for keeping stunt-doubles
and actors safe instead of letting them ruin their health by working on this
show.

A big Thanks to Alex's stunt-double Paul Lacovara for
his awesome work on the brilliant H50 Season finale!
While the stunts in this episode were just all-around breathtaking and
spectacular, Paul certainly had the toughest job doing the stunts for Steve.
What an episode!!! I just watched it and loved it but find it extremely cruel
that we'll have to wait until late September to find out what the future
has in store for Kono, Steve and the rest of Five-0.

The movie "Ultimate Justice" with H50's
Mark Dacascos will finally get released this fall!
It was filmed back in 2014 in Germany after Mark's
character Wo Fat on H50 was killed by McGarrett, so it took quite a long time
for the movie to get picked up by Sony Pictures but better late than never :-)

Back from the German Comic Con in
Munich and happy to say that I got to talk to Julie and she's super-nice!
When I asked her if she'll be back on H50 for Season 8, she said that she hopes
so and that the cast and crew are great, and that it's a lot of fun to work on
the show.
Sadly, my photos of her taken at the panel are very blurry but I might get
better ones from my fan-friend Silke who was there with me. I'll try to get more
pics tomorrow but it's not allowed to take photos in the autograph-signing area
(where I talked to Julie) - which would have been a much better place than at
the panel. Since I have a photoshoot ticket for tomorrow though, I hope the
photo with Julie will turn out good. Julie looks fantastic (despite being very
tired and having a jetlag!) - and I can always cut myself out of the photo :-)

Happy H50 Monday to the German
fans with the last 3 episodes of Season 6 incl. the big season finale!
Tonight, fans in Germany can enjoy a true H50 feast with three fantastic
episodes that are particularly great for me to rewatch because they were partly
filmed when I was in Hawaii in March 2016. Ep. 6.24 includes a scene with Julie
Benz (whom I met at the Comic Con yesterday) that I watched filming back then.
It's the shootout scene with Julie as Abby on a motorbike. I also met the main
cast (Alex, Scotty, Daniel and Grace) on their way to shooting the scenes in the
Hawaii Theatre for that episode. I also saw Grace with Willie Garson leaving The
Plaza (senior residence) after a shoot for ep. 6.23. So, yes, I will definitely
enjoy rewatching tonight's episodes. Besides, I love the finale with the organ
donation.

And off to enjoy another lazy day off work. Actually, I
have to get quite a bit of work done this week - I just don't feel like it
because unpleasant chores like cleaning up thoroughly, ironing, doing the tax
return etc. tend to ruin home vacations :-) Well, at least some of this stuff
needs to get done though before I have friends visiting for dinner tomorrow and
on Friday.
Just don't be surprised that I don't actually post more or more often on the
fansite than usual although I'm "on vacation" and should have more time for
updates - theoretically :-)
