Article with advice for H50 fans
on what YOU can do to ensure that the show gets renewed for Season 8
Just a little personal comment about those tweets about H50: It does get
unnerving when fans use the H50 hashtag in extended, personal Twitter
discussions of the show between two fans - and it also makes no sense to repeat
every single sentence (1 per tweet) of an episode in German. Just saying! As
much as I love this show and I'm all for promoting it, I think tweets about it
should either have an entertainment value (= include pics or collages or video
clips) or contain some sort of information (articles about the show and its
cast, info posts and reminders about upcoming episodes etc.), or a fan might
voice a relevant opinion via Twitter (such as "I love this show and CBS should
renew it") - anything else
just makes it difficult for any fan or fansite admin to filter relevant
information by means of the H50 hashtag search.

Info for German fans: There are 8
pages about H50 in the new issue of the "TV Serien Highlights" magazine!
The March/April issue came out today, and fans who collect the magazine's
episode guides for H50 will find a lot of material and one full-page promo photo
of the main cast. Fans of Daniel Henney, who played Adam Noshimuri's brother in
H50, might also be interested in the magazine's 8-page article about the upcoming
series "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" with Daniel. The series premieres in
Germany on Sat.1 later this month.

MARCH 5, 2017: Have a Sunny Sunday!
Here it comes - The collage that
fits in with the latest Five-0 Redux blog about H50 fans hoping for Season 8
We probably all agree that there is much more speaking in favor of a Season 8
than against it, and we probably shouldn't worry that Season 7 might be the last
one we get to enjoy. We would just feel a little more "relaxed" about it all if
CBS officially announced the Season 8 renewal. The show's been doing fantastic
this season, so it's highly likely that we'll get to see more of the old and new
members of the fan-loved H50 'ohana. It's mainly these people and their
characters on the show that make us (at least me) watch and love this show.
Please note that the collage is not complete but I couldn't possibly "squeeze"
all the fan-loved actors or characters into it. Otherwise, you'd definitely see
Taylor Wily and several other actors in it, too.

busy looking for my camera in my big bag for one minute out of those two...), I
had the exact same impression. These two seem to be very close buddies - and
since they both have a great sense of humor (as mentionned in interviews
before), I think they probably have fun teasing each other off camera, too. I'd
love to "play mouse" on set for a day, watching Alex and Scotty goof around
behind the scenes :-)

MARCH 6, 2017:
Yo-ho, Yo-ho! The pirates & H50
are conquering German television today in the Season 6 premiere on Sat.1 :-)
Tonight, fans in Germany finally get to enjoy the first two episodes of Season
6, starting at 10.10 pm. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, let me add
that ep. 6.01 includes a short scene with Five-0 & Co. dancing at Kono's wedding
party - and this scene alone makes it worth tuning in - not to mention that the
song used in this scene fits in perfectly! It's the kind of scene I could watch
on repeat loop for hours without getting tired of it. But, of course, there's a
lot more to look forward to for German fans including a pirate invasion à la
"Pirates of the Caribbean" (sadly no Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom but the
handsome
boys of Five-0 more than make up for that), dental
torture for newlywed Kono etc. etc. etc.

I think all of us fans agree that Grace gave an excellent performance as
"Kicka$$ Kono" in last night's great H50 ep. 7.19 - and I'm not so much
referring to the scenes in which she very impressively beat up the bad guy with
her bare hands (and I was probably not the only one loving her line at the end "He
had a knife") but rather the slightly calmer moments with a very moved,
emotional Kono.

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to awesome Grace
who rocked the screen in H50 ep. 7.19!
Today reminds me of my vacation in Hawaii last
year because I saw Grace on her birthday leaving "The Plaza" (senior residence)
with the one-and-only Willie Garson (Gerard Hirsch) on their way to a van that
picked them up for lunch, in between shooting ep. 6.23. I could still kick my
ass for not walking up to them and wishing Grace a "Happy Birthday". Well, I'm
wishing her a super-happy birthday this year, with many reasons to smile - like
in these pics of happy moments on the show :-)
H50 fans in Honolulu should not
miss "Dennis Chun: The Musical" at the Doris Duke Theatre on March 23
- This was POSTPONED (cif. March 18!)
Kimee Balmilero who has replaced Masi Oka as Chief Medical Examiner on H50 will

A little collage to remind you of
the latest Five-0 Redux blog about the H50 & MacGyver crossover last week
There's one quote in the blog that I want to comment on - It's Jack's statement
that "McGarrett is a big crybaby". I find these words slightly insulting for a
Super-SEAL like Steve. The few times that we have seen McGarrett cry on the
show, it was very appropriate and understandable in the respective situations
and only showed that Steve is a human being, after all - not some sort of
emotionless, cold-hearted fight-machine. This is not a sci-fi show about robots
(which I would not watch) but a show about human beings - I mainly watch and
love this show because of the characters and their different human facets and
emotions. Steve has a soft, sensitive side, too, but he is definitely tough when
needed, especially when he's doing his job or even getting beaten up by
terrorists or tortured. The words "big crybaby" are unfair and out of place. It
is perfectly o.k. (and true) that Steve cries occasionally but, nevertheless,
this Super-SEAL is far from being a "big crybaby".

film, taught a six-week class on "Truth in Acting" and spoke at the big American

Taylor's Gift foundation has
another 5k event to raise organ donor awareness and funds for their great work
Some of you might remember last year's 5k event in which participants were asked
to cover a distance of 5 kilometres (3.1 miles), wearing the event shirt and
posting photos of themselves in the shirt. By participating, fans could show
their support of organ donation.
This April, a new 5k event will take place and you can participate. By
purchasing the event shirt (before the end of March!), and with your
registration fee for the event, you will support the work of Taylor's Gift who
help people touched by organ donation - and strive to increase the number of
organ donors by spreading the inspiring story of Taylor who saved 5 lives as an
organ donor.

Just a little comment:
There aren't any actual news - just fans sharing pics and opinions online and an
article with mere speculations about Alex's departure from the show before the
end of season 8 or even at the end of Season 7. It's starting to get tiring that
people (incl. the press) keep spreading rumors and pure speculations. Just to
give you an idea of the nonsense that is being spread online - back in Season 3,
I was told by a fan visiting Hawaii that Scotty was going to leave the show and
would not be on season 4 and that she knew this because crew members had said
so. Well, we all know that Scotty is still on the show although we are already
in season 7 now!
Why can't fans just enjoy the great news about the renewal and look forward to
Season 8 without focusing on "what ifs" and speculations about main cast members
leaving the show prematurely?! Alex clearly stated several months ago that his
current contract runs for season 7 and 8, so while season 8 is likely to be the
last one, I'm pretty sure that we'll get to see and enjoy Alex in Season 8 -
unless he's struggling with acute major health problems, which doesn't seem to
be the case at the moment. Of course, I don't know for sure because I'm not Alex
and don't know how he actually feels.
But why would he write a message to a crew member saying "Another year, homie,
another year" if he intended to leave the show at the end of season 7? Please
think first before you post or share speculations which tend to make fans worry
unnecessarily.

In April, our "Alex O'Loughlin Fans for Organ Donation" fan-group will run a
fundraiser benefitting Taylor's Gift, so we would like you to know in advance
why Alex is a spokesperson for this charity and why we keep running fundraisers
for TG.
The charity's founders were touched by organ donation in the most personal way.
When Tara and Todd Storch lost their 13-year-old daughter Taylor in a skiing
accident, the girl saved five lives as an organ donor. To see their daughter
"outlive herself" by giving the gift of life to others, inspired the Storchs
to set up the foundation and to encourage others to save lives as organ donors. In addition to raising organ donor awareness, they provide help to
individuals and families touched by organ donation because they know first-hand
which difficulties organ donor families and organ recipients are
confronted with when a loved one dies - and another loved one is waiting for a
life-saving organ.
