SEPTEMBER 1, 2016:

Sorry, no update - I'm shocked and speechless at the moment after reading a post by a certain liar, thief and hypocrit.

I'm so torn! While I absolutely love H50 and its cast and crew, I find it not just disappointing but inacceptable that a fan who has stolen from other fans, lied to other fans, has denounced at least one fan publicly on FB and been rude to other fans gets access to the red carpet at the SOTB7 premiere to cover the event live for her radio show. That's what she wrote on FB, anyway - and since she also got an interview with a top representative** of the show recently, I guess she might not be lying, for a change. Her presence at the red carpet at the SOTB is a slap in the face for many other long-time fans and fansite admins and will ruin the fun for many - most of all those fans who were personally affected by her fraudulent and rude behavior. This woman keeps abusing the words "aloha" and "ohana" every day - which is an insult to the people of Hawai'i. It is simply frustrating that such hypocrits are successful despite of or rather due to their lies :-(
(**Cif. my personal comments on Aug. 15 and 17).

Update (Sept. 2):
After reflecting about the whole situation for two days and after receiving numerous encouraging messages from fellow fans who love and appreciate what I do as a fansite admin, and who totally agree with me in what I wrote about the woman above, I've decided to update the fansites again - not least because I want to continue promoting organ donation with Alex, but also because I love almost everyone working on my favorite show H50. The cast and crew are absolutely wonderful and I won't let one single fan ruin the fun for me and my fellow fans. She can call us haters on Facebook (which she did) - we know best that we aren't! We are just fans telling the truth and voicing our justified disappointment and anger. If she continues to cheat on fans and to block anyone (on FB) who tries to tell the truth and warn of her, she'll ultimately end up with no followers and friends, anyway! I just feel sorry for the fans who will have to endure her presence at the red carpet at the Season 7 premiere in Waikiki.

Update (Sept. 24):
The a.m. fan was stopped and not at the premiere! She claimed that it was one "stalker" who got her stopped but, trust me, there were quite a few fans who had very bad experiences with her - not just one!
Anyway - I thought I'd let you know that CBS and H50 do care about their fans and made sure that everyone on the beach got to enjoy and celebrate the premiere happily.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2016:

These news need to be shared: We've raised 3000 dollars in the campaign in honor of Alex's 40th birthday!
The campaign which was also supported by Alex himself on his Facebook page benefitted his favorite charity "Taylor's Gift". The money raised helps save and improve lives through organ donation. Several fans and fansites have promoted the campaign - and, of course, made a donation for this great cause. Thank you to all of you who've participated in any way!

Call-sheet for the 150th episode of H50 (Filming has started today!)
The 150th episode is titled "Ka makuahine a me ke keiki kāne" (It should mean something like "Mother and son" which would fit as a title since Steve's mother Doris returns in this episode).

Alex's buddy Enson Inoue is back on O'ahu and selling his gem bracelets for a great cause!
Find out more on: www.destinyforever.com
He is selling his bracelets & more until Sept. 11 on the second floor (Boardroom) of the Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel on Kuhio Avenue.

SEPTEMBER 3, 2016:

Happy Weekend with Alex and beautiful Waikiki
Again, I have mixed one of my own photos with an edited promo pic of Alex.

Very cool video promoting MacGyver and H50's McGarrett - both shows will air on Fridays from Sept. 23 on CBS

It's Five-0 Redux Blog Day, and the new blog is about the H50 fans' favorite teenager in Hawai'i: Teilor Grubbs as Gracie

SEPTEMBER 4, 2016: Have a Sunny Sunday :-)

The "H50 ALS Warriors" team will again participate in the "Hawaii Walk to Defeat ALS" (Sept. 17) - Please support them!
As long-time fans know, Alex and H50 have supported the fight against the awful disease ALS (Info: www.alsa.org) for several years by participating in the ALS Ice Bucket challenge two years ago (Video link below) and the "Walk to Defeat ALS", which takes place in Hawaii each year in September. If you happen to be in Hawaii for the walk, you can, of course, participate and show your support of people suffering from ALS. Alex's mother-in-law died from ALS a few years ago, so his family is directly affected by ALS because his wife and kids lost a beloved mother and grandma. Malia's family has its own team of fundraisers participating in the Hawaii Walk but for the fans of H50 and Alex, it is best to support the "H50 ALS Warriors" team which is led by Eric (known as "The pirate") - a man with a big heart who has been in charge of feeding the cast & crew of our favorite show on set - and saved me from dehydration in Hawaii with a bottle of water :-) Since I was focusing on Alex's birthday fundraiser for organ donation in August, I promised Eric that I'd support this equally great cause in September - like I did in the last two years! If you can, please make a donation on Eric's team page. The funds raised are used to finance ALS research and to help people affected by ALS.
Here's the team page of the "H50 ALS Warriors" where you can MAKE A DONATION:

More related posts and photos can be found on the September news pages of 2014/2015 which you find in the archive (Top of this page).

Sorry for the length of this post but fans need to be well-informed before they decide to make a donation. Whenever I support and promote fundraisers on my pages, I want fans to be sure that their money is going directly to a trustworthy charity and that the respective charity is actually supported by Alex and/or H50.

Will be back later...

Musician James Taylor who met Alex on the set of H50 back in 2013 supports organ donation, too
James helped save the life of a man by raising funds for the transplantation at one of his concerts. It's great to see that these two wonderful guys not only share their huge talent and love of music - but also a big heart and the support of organ donation.
Here's the story which was shared on the page of the "Taylor's Gift" foundation:

P.S.: It was kind of cute to see Alex as a fan in these pictures with James :-)

SEPTEMBER 5, 2016:

Have a Happy Labor Day and a good start into the new week with H50's handsome handyman Steve :-)
Alex himself likes to fix stuff at his home and even worked as a plumber in the past and rebuilt his current house (with some help, of course), so these kinds of scenes on H50 are probably easy to "play" for him. I'm just so glad that he decided to become an actor and to share his many talents with his fans and the audience on screen.

Don't miss the comment posted with this new photo of Alex by Robert Warner :-)

Article incl. a fan poll about two crime show duos - Vote for H50's McDanno! They are definitely the best
While "Criminal Minds" has always been among my favorite shows (especially ep. 4.22 with Alex playing a serial killer), NO duo could ever be better and more enjoyable to watch than McDanno.

Off to work...

Ready for some cool H50 action?! Here are some spectacular stunts, speedy action & surfing from Season 6!

SEPTEMBER 6, 2016:

Lucky fans from Europe got to meet two of H50's fan-favorites: The awesome stunt-coordinator Jeff Cadiente and actor Dennis Chun
Jeff shared this photo from Amy, the leading H50 fan-tour guide on O'ahu. Jeff has always been one of my favorites and I admire and highly appreciate the work of his fantastic stunt-team. Several of the action scenes you see in my last collage, would not have been possible without Jeff and his team! And I probably don't even have to mention how much I love Dennis who is always so kind to us fans.
https://twitter.com/airjef/status/772933931268083712

Actress Sarah Carter just flew to Hawai'i to play Lynn in the 150th episode of H50 (7.07)
We might get to enjoy some happy McLynn moments like these, again :-) The episode should be interesting to watch, considering that the "Top 3" women in Steve's private life (= not counting his colleague Kono) make an appearance: His mother Doris, his long-time love and ex-girlfriend Cath and his current girlfriend Lynn.

Off to work...

It is SO hard to fit all of the H50 characters that I love - and look forward to in Season 7 - into one collage!
Sang Min and Kawika just wouldn't fit in. And if I wanted to add those of my favorites that are no longer on the show, such as Aunt Deb, I'd need a collage twice this size. By the way, I was trying to make a simple "Welcome back for Season 7 soon" collage and that's how it turned out :-) There are just too many awesome and super-likeable actors on the show.

SEPTEMBER 7, 2016:

Just real quick this morning because of an early work meeting - There'll also be a dinner date after work...

Have a Happy Hump Day with our top favorites of H50 :-)

There might not be many H50 fans in L.A. trying to be successful actors but those who are should sign up for this class with Willie Garson, one of my top-favorite guest-stars on H50!

SEPTEMBER 9, 2016:

No H50 on CBS this Friday BUT the night-owls among you can enjoy 5 repeats on TNT- incl. the awesome 100th episode 5.07!
Ep. 5.07 alone is worth staying up all night - at least if you don't have the DVDs from Season 5. I always prefer to watch previous seasons on DVD. Here's the schedule for the episodes on TNT, airing early on Saturday (start at midnight):
12 a.m.: Ep. 5.05 "Ho'oilina" (Legacy)
  1 a.m.: Ep. 5.06 "Ho'omā'ike" (Unmasked)
2 a.m.: Ep. 5.07 "Inā paha" (If perhaps)
3 a.m.: Ep. 5.08 "Ka hana malῡ" (Inside job)
4 a.m.: Ep. 5.09 "Ke koho mamao aku" (Longshot)

Alex's favorite charity "Taylor's Gift" has a worldwide event coming up that you can all get ready for NOW and participate in throughout October
The following information was shared by Alex because fans around the globe can participate by taking the following steps:
- You can order an event shirt by Sept. 20 (not later!)
- Register online by making a donation of $25
- Participate in October by covering a distance of 5 kilometers resp. 3.1 miles.
- Share photos of yourself and others participating in this "5K event".
Here's the detailed info by Taylor's Gift (shared on Alex's page):
Information about a new worldwide event to raise organ donor awareness and funds

SEPTEMBER 10, 2016: Have a nice weekend!

What a pleasant find: A guest blog for the Taylor's Gift charity written by fellow H50 fan Gabi
Since her fansite is dedicated to several TV shows, she will hopefully promote organ donation on her fansite successfully (She does promote it on Twitter but it's hard to send a clear, informative message out to the fans due to the limited length of tweets). She did mention Taylor's Gift shortly in her birthday blog for Alex and Scotty (to which many fans contributed messages and video clips). With her fansite, she could help spread the message about the benefits of organ donation among fans of these other shows, too. Like most other fansite admins of the "AOL Fans for Donate Life" fan-group and its partner fansites, which promote organ donation, I focus exclusively on Alex and H50 on my pages  because they are my favorite actor and favorite show. Take a look at the blog by Gabi who, by the way, also made a generous donation in the recent fundraising campaign for Alex's birthday:
http://blog.taylorsgift.org/a-global-gift-how-one-woman-discovered-taylors-story-and-was-inspired-to-act

It's "Five-0 Redux Day" and the new blog is about Dennis Chun as Sgt. Duke Lukela on H50
Since I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Dennis and his partner Laura in Hawai'i in March, I can absolutely confirm what Wendie has written about him. He is the most accessible of the cast members because he is so appreciative of his fans and their support of him and the show. He always tries to take time to meet and greet fans, whenever his very busy schedule allows him to. When I met him in Hawaii, he had to go to an acting class right afterwards - a fact that shows how committed he is to his work and that he's always striving to keep up with the big stars of the show and to give his very best when he is on set. He's a very kind man and someone who truly deserves respect - on and off screen, for being a man of integrity and a true  ambassador of aloha. I love his character Duke because he's always been loyal to Five-0 and ready to help and support the team - He's the "one they can count on", as Wendie put it.

Will be back later...

SEPTEMBER 11, 2016:

Remembering Sept. 11 with impressions from H50 ep. 3.06 "I ka wā ma mua" (In a time past) with Danno
I made this collage before I saw the current photo with Scotty in New York (link above). He was fantastic in this episode, and these pics are the only ones from H50 that have to do with 9/11, so I decided to use them for today's collage in memory of the thousands of people who lost their lives that day, 15 years ago. Actually, the people I've always felt the most sympathy for the ones who were left behind and had to live with the aftermath of the attack. My greatest respect goes out to all the rescue workers, fire-fighters, police and anyone who dug out survivors and was involved in cleaning up the mess of rubble and partly toxic waste afterwards!

I'll be back later with at least one more collage...

I've posted another collage dedicated to Dennis Chun's H50 character Sgt. Duke Lukela (on the Five-0 Redux page)
The link to the current Five-0 Redux blog about Dennis as Duke is also included with the collage:

Don't miss the U.S. release of the H50 Season 6 DVDs this Tuesday (Sept. 13) by pre-ordering NOW (if you haven't yet)
Fans in Europe might want to wait for the U.K. release on Sept. 19** but U.S. fans should order now to get their DVD-box this week. The collage includes a photo of my own beloved collection of H50 DVDs. I'm definitely looking forward to the pre-ordered Season 6 DVD-box to fill the gap :-)
Here's the link for ordering the DVDs:

Info for H50 fans who were wondering because Scotty was seen in New York while H50 is filming the 150th episode
EP Peter has confirmed that Scotty will not be in the 150th episode. Here's what Peter wrote on Twitter when fans asked him about Scotty. "Unfortunately he is not. Scheduling conflict that could not be overcome." However, a fan mentionned on Twitter that ep. 7.08 (151st ep.) will be a "Danno-centric" episode. If that is true (I don't know where the fan got this information), it might help to make up for his lack in the 150th episode which is all about Steve and the women in his life.

Today, the Season 6 DVDs of H50 are released in the U.S. - Get your DVD-box NOW
My box was sent off already but the estimated date of arrival in Germany seems a bit late to me, considering that I chose "expedited delivery". The DVDs better arrive before the date indicated by Amazon.com or I will order from the U.K., instead, next year.

Please take some time to listen to this excellent interview with Taylor's Gift co-founder Tara Storch
Tara is, of course, the mother of Taylor - the girl that the charity was named after in honor and memory of Taylor and her life-saving gifts as an organ donor. The way Tara speaks about the story of Taylor and their family is very inspiring. The interview also gives valuable information about the mission and work of Taylor's Gift that may help you in your decision to support the charity in any of the fundraising campaigns that Alex and our "AOL Fans for Donate Life" fan group run or promote and ask you to participate in:

SEPTEMBER 14, 2016:

Just an old collage for today - I didn't get around to making a new one yesterday. Some days & nights are much too short! But this is definitely one worth reposting :-)

Awesome H50 action special from the Season 6 DVDs - This should be safe to share since Boss Peter and stunt-guru Jeff did, too :-)
If you enjoy this, make sure to buy the DVDs! I don't usually share links to full videos like these from the DVDs since this kind of copyrighted material shouldn't really get posted online but it might just make you want to buy the DVDs even more because there are usually many more great specials and deleted scenes on them - and, of course, those 25 excellent episodes from Season 6. H50 DVD expert David Naylor always does a great job at compiling extra goodies on the DVDs for us to enjoy. A few little video clips posted online, in advance, also help fans like me abroad to endure the wait for the DVDs - Mine are on the way from the U.S. but will take at least 1 or 2 more weeks to arrive.
Here's the action special: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPMY0XvtIYE&feature=youtu.be
P.S.: The gag-reel with goofy Alex & Co. can also be enjoyed in the same YouTube account - Have fun watching :-)

Off to work...

Support The Trevor Project and raise awareness of hate crimes and bullying.
Video and message by Christopher

Wow! H50 Boss Peter has posted a lot of pics on IG from the upcoming H50 ep. 7.01 which premieres Sept. 23
Here's a little collage I made out of them real quick... well, not that quick... I'm running out of time before work...

Now I better rush to work...

Alex fans will absolutely love this (I definitely do)! Enjoy a tour of the H50 set with adorable, humorful Alex!
He introduces some of the fantastic cast-members of the show. I can't wait to get my DVDs to enjoy this over and over again. Thanks to fan Jilly for sharing!

Support the fight against ALS with the H50 ALS Warriors team - The "Hawai'i Walk to Defeat ALS" is this Saturday!
As mentionned earlier this month (see Sept. 4), various H50 members incl. Alex, Daniel, Peter etc. have raised awareness of the awful disease ALS (of which Alex's mother-in-law died a few years ago) and have helped raise funds for ALS research and to help ALS patients and their families.
This month, the "H50 ALS Warriors" team is raising funds and awareness again by participating in the "Walk to Defeat ALS" which takes place this Saturday in Honolulu. You can support the team (led by Eric Uyeda ) from around the globe by making a donation on their fundraising page. Here's the link:

SEPTEMBER 17, 2016: Happy Weekend :-)

Today's Five-0 Redux blog is very special to me because it's about H50 fans travelling to Hawai'i
And since I happen to be admin of the Five-0 Redux FB page, Wendie has dedicated a huge portion of her blog to my own trip to Hawai'i in March when I made my fan-dream come true by exploring the home of my favorite show and meeting my favorite cast - including my top-favorite Alex. It was only a very short meeting but definitely the one part of my visit that I had hoped for the most. Alex and pro photographer Scotty made my day just hours before I had to return to Germany.
I hope all of my fellow fans will get a chance to make their fan dream come true, too, some day - maybe at this year's SOTB7 premiere coming up next week! Enjoy your stay in beautiful Hawai'i as much as I did!
A big "Mahalo" to my friend Wendie for including the link to my fansite and to the Facebook pages that I'm co-admin for.
Here's the blog for you all to enjoy - It also includes a quick look back at the end of Season 6:

SEPTEMBER 18, 2016: Have a Sunny Sunday!

This week is all about fans looking forward to the great Season 7 premiere of H50 on Sept. 23 - on TV and in Waikiki
Fans on O'ahu can join local fans of the show at a great party the night before the SOTB7 premiere. The party will take place at the Coconut Club on the 21st floor of the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel (one of the filming locations of the show) where you can overlook Queen's Beach and the preparations and rehearsals for the SOTB7. The event is organized by the local fan tour operator "Hawaii Jeep Tours" and part of the proceeds go to charity (Historical Preservation Society). Some of our friends, such as Lisa and Amy whom you see in the collage with Dennis, will be at the event and would love for you to join them for drinks, "pupus" and to enjoy the music of Shawn Mokuahi-Garnett who plays Kamekona's cousin Flippa on H50.
For more information and to get your tickets (Seats are limited!), please go to:
https://jeeptourshawaii.com/h50-fan-event/

By the way - Lisa was one of the fans who gave me a hint about where H50 was filming when I was there in March. Trust me it's not easy, at all, to find H50 filming although some fans are lucky enough to just come across filming by chance (I wasn't one of them). Thanks to Lisa's info, and additional "intel" by a friendly HPD officer, I saw Grace with Willie Garson that day getting picked up at a set.
If you missed Wendie's great blog about fans and myself (!) travelling to Hawai'i, in hope of seeing the cast, take a look:
http://www.staradvertiser.com/category/five-0-redux/

A good interview with H50 Boss Peter about his two shows: The new "MacGyver" and our long-time favorite H50
I may have stopped promoting "MacGyver" some time ago and even deleted most of the previous promo posts about it because I was very disappointed about Peter giving an interview to a fan who lied and stole from other H50 fans - but I'm nevertheless convinced that CBS viewers will have a blast on Friday nights with MacGyver and McGarrett rocking their screens for two hours in a row - Season 1 of "MacGyver" premieres right before H50 on Friday, Sept. 23. "MacGyver" does look great to me from what I've seen so far. One fan even asked me to set up a fansite for MacGyver because he thinks I'm doing a great job promoting H50 and would do the same with MacGyver - but, hey, I'm busy enough with the fansites for H50 and Alex. I have no time and desire to open any more fansites. Besides, I won't be able to watch MacGyver myself since I'm in Germany. It is complicated enough to get to watch the latest H50 episodes but those are needed as "motivation" because it wouldn't make sense to run up-to-date fansites about a show that I can't watch myself. In Germany, fans are still waiting for the last 8 episodes of Season 5 (!) to air, and any fan who understands English well enough, has bought the DVDs, by now.

Will be back in a little while...

Another look back at my trip to Hawai'i that is highlighted in the latest Five-0 Redux blog about fans travelling to Hawai'i
This collage shows my happy fan-meeting with Dennis and Laura :-) The orchid lei I got from them was so beautiful - and brought me luck for meeting Alex the next day!

SEPTEMBER 19, 2016:

Today, the DVDs of H50 Season 6 are released in the U.K., so European fans, who didn't order from the U.S., can get them now!
Here's where you can order them if you don't live in the U.K.: www.amazon.co.uk

I posted this on the Five-0 Redux page last night - an album with collages of my Hawai'i trip in March and the links to my page about Hawai'i and my travel blog:

But, of course, you can view the pages directly here on my fansite :-)

Join Alex and his fans in the "Ultimate 5K" event of Taylor's Gift to raise awareness and funds of organ donation
While the event as such won't take place until October, the event shirts need to be ordered before Thursday, Sept. 22 to get printed and shipped in time for fans to wear them when they cover 5 km (3.1 miles) to show their support of organ donation.
Here's where you can buy the shirts - The text on the page is actually displayed in the language of the viewer (I see the page in German): https://teespring.com/ultimate-gift-5k2016?hsCtaTracking=d99676f0-aea0-46f1-9301-070339f67c7f%7C0f57f7d0-c01e-4f1e-82fb-e074b2a79b76#pid=2&cid=2122&sid=front

And don't forget to register for the event by making a minimum donation of $25. Follow the instructions in this post:

SEPTEMBER 20, 2016:

We continue our countdown to the Season 7 premiere of H50 this Friday on CBS and on Queen's Beach in Waikiki
While we are eagerly waiting for the return of our favorite show, let's take a look back at the SOTB4 premiere.
Here's a video of the interview Wendie did with ALEX at the SOTB4 - not her first one, by the way!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4eAL1HSvPY

This introduction to "MacGyver" and its cast sounds like H50 Boss Peter's new show has a lot in common with H50
It does not have Hawai'i though :-) The MacGyver reboot looks great but, to me, H50 with its wonderful cast and crew and its home Hawai'i will always be my top-favorite. I think Wendie's latest Five-0 Redux blog makes more than clear how much I love H50!
Here's the video about MacGyver and its cast:

Off to work...

H50 fans who will be at the SOTB7 premiere this Friday should get some H50 fan-stuff while they are in Hawai'i :-)
If you are one of the diehard H50 fans that Wendie's latest Five-0 Redux blog is about, you'll want to shop for H50 merchandise while you are on vacation in Hawai'i. The official H50 merchandise is, of course, available in the CBS store but other cool fan articles can be purchased on location in Honolulu. The crew shirts (for each season) are not easily available but you can buy some of the shirts in this picture at various shops. For tips on where to buy fan articles, please view my page about Hawaii and scroll down a bit.
The collage shows the perfect H50 shirt collection that I'm proud to call my own - I hope to get a Season 7 crew shirt but they are not available - not yet, anyway. Of course, my beloved H50 fan collection includes much more than just shirts and DVDs, as you may have guessed :-)

Two sneak peeks for H50 ep. 7.01 "Mākaukau 'oe e pā'ani?" (Ready to play?) were added on this page:

The Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki and H50 have renewed a production agreement
H50 will film certain scenes at the hotel which is offering special H50 fan packages for its hotel guests. If you ever stay at this hotel, make sure to go to the H50 fan shop (part jewelry shop) in the Diamond Head Tower of the resort. Here's the announcement made by the Hilton Hawaiian Village:

SEPTEMBER 21, 2016:

Let's continue with our countdown to this Friday's big Season 7 premiere by looking back at the SOTB5 in 2014
This great CBS video sums up the SOTB5, as well as the 100th episode celebration, taking place the same week:

If you want to raise awareness and funds for organ donation in October by participating in the worldwide "Ultimate Gift 5K" event of the Taylor's Gift charity , the best way is to get the appropriate shirt to wear. SEPTEMBER 22, 2016:

And the countdown to the Season 7 premiere of H50 continues with a look back at last year's SOTB6
The SOTB pics I use for my collages are usually from CBS, HNN and primarily from the Star Advertiser (incl. the Honolulu Pulse) - after all, my friend Wendie works for the Star Advertiser, so I prefer to use their stuff since I'm always posting my collages on Wendies Five-0 Redux FB page.
Here's a Star Advertiser video with the cast on stage and giving interviews:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o98XBgiRQSA

Video interview with H50 Boss Peter & Bryan Spicer speaking about the Season 7 premiere - by Hawaii News Now
As mentionned earlier, Peter and Bryan were at the Hawaii News Now Studio on Wednesday talking about the show.
http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/clip/12745939/hawaii-five-0-executive-producers-talk-season-7-premiere-special-giveaway

I've been quite busy lately but intend to finally set up a page for the SOTB7 tonight (German time) to post the schedule and any live blog or livestream links I can find. So far, I know that HNN's Billy V and the Long Legs O'Loughlin fan group will be livestreaming, for sure. Malika Dudley is vacationing in France, so she won't be there, this year. Of course, the Star Advertiser staff is always at the SOTBs, too, and will either provide a live blog (like last year) and/or post video interviews and articles (usually afterwards). German fans may also follow the serienjunkies.de website because their editors will be at the premiere, too. Now off to work...

Yeah! The gap in my beloved H50 DVD collection is gone - The DVDs of Season 6 arrived today :-)

Take a look at the many faces of H50's Steve McGarrett in this photo album of CBS
http://www.cbs.com/shows/hawaii_five_0/photos/1005677/the-many-faces-of-mcgarrett/

An Australian fan was wondering when H50 will be back on Channel TEN - The show will return to Oz on Saturday, Oct. 8!
The Season 7 premiere will air in Australia in just a couple of weeks. For updates about H50 in Australia, I highly recommend to follow the "Hawaii Five-0 Australia" page of fan Nardia. I'm trying to keep up with news about H50 from the U.S. and in Europe but Nardia does a great job at keeping the fans in Alex's home country well-informed, so there's really no need for me to keep track of Australia-related H50 news.
Here's the link to Nardia's fansite: https://www.facebook.com/h50aus/

Short article with some info from H50 Boss Peter about the H50 Season 7 premiere

H50 fans currently in Hawai'i might want to attend Living History Day in Pearl Harbor on Saturday!
Fans who loved the "Pearl Harbor episode" (4.10) of H50, should not miss this special event.
Here's some information: http://www.pacificaviationmuseum.org/events/living-history-day-event

One last collage as a reminder of the latest Five-0 Redux blog about fans travelling to Hawai'i
During my own trip in March, one of the H50 cast members I got to meet was Season 5 guest actress Delys Recca - a fantastic hula dancer who performed at King's Village shopping center when I was there. In the collage you also see her with Scotty, on H50 and with Wendie at a fan tweetup last year.

SEPTEMBER 23, 2016:

Today's the BIG PREMIERE DAY - on the beach in Waikiki AND on television (CBS in the US and Global TV in Canada)

A Super-Happy Birthday to H50's Coooool Chi McBride :-)
I regret not having a new collage to post for his birthday because I really love this guy but, at the moment, my days would have to be twice as long to get collages done for all of the events - such as SOTB premieres, TV premieres, blog promotion, birthdays and so on. I work full-time, too, and my boss has been ill for three months, so life is not exactly "boring" these days...
Here's a photo of Chi - posted by his wife Julissa:

US fans can enjoy the big Season 7 premiere of H50 on CBS - and (after midnight) some Season 5 episodes on TNT
CBS viewers should already tune in at 8/7c tonight to catch the premiere of H50 Boss Peter's new show "MacGyver" (reboot) which airs right before the Season 7 premiere of H50, episode 7.01 "Mākaukau 'oe e pā'ani?" (Ready to play?) which, of course, airs at 9/8c ET/PT. Enjoy the return of McDanno arguing about their shared liver and the entire Five-0 'ohana trying to catch a very fast baddie. Here's the summary, sneak peeks and promo trailers for the premiere episode:
http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/08/hawaii-five-0-episode-701-makaukau-ce-e.html

Here's the schedule for the repeats on TNT this Saturday morning, starting at midnight:

1 am: Ep. 5.16 "Nānahu" (Embers)
  2 am: Ep. 5.17 "Kῡ ka'awale" (Stakeout)
3 am: Ep. 5.18 "Pono kaulike" (Justice for all)

Both of H50 Boss Peter's shows will be screened at the SOTB7 premiere in Waikiki: "MacGyver" and "Hawaii Five-0"
This means that fans on the beach won't miss anything on TV. In addition, "MacGyver" will be repeated on CBS this Sunday night at 10:30 pm. Mahalo to Dennis Chun for sending me the photo of Queen's Beach getting prepared for the great premiere tonight!

Dennis Chun has posted a message about the premiere - and photos from last night's party with H50 fans

Tune in to CBS or Global TV and enjoy ep. 7.01 "Mākaukau 'oe e pā'ani?" (Ready to play?). Tune in one hour earlier than usual to watch H50 Boss Peter's new show "MacGyver", too which leads in H50.

SEPTEMBER 25, 2016: Have a Sunny Sunday!

Let's start with a little reminder of the latest Five-0 Redux blog about the H50 Season 7 premiere episode
The episode had a lot to love and enjoy. Fans of the old show mentionned to me that they loved the Jack Lord cameo. And, once again, the stunt-team outdid itself in the absolutely spectacular chase of the bad guy (or rather one of them) played by parkour artist Jesse La Flair. Personally, I loved the McDanno scenes that went from arguments to expressing love and gratitude. When Steve sets his health - and, thus, his gift of life from Danno - at risk when he's chasing the bad guy across roof-tops, Steve does so because he's under enormous pressure after his talk with the new Governor. I can't tell you how sorry I felt for him when he came home at the end of the episode, only to find out that he (and his new liver) would not get the break and recovery he was hoping for - and for which he had turned down an invitation to join his team for a beer. After the "player" has paid a visit to Steve's home, the case has gotten way too personal for Steve to just lean back and relax...
Here's Wendie's blog about the episode, if you missed it yesterday:

SEPTEMBER 26, 2016:

Several collages were added on my page about the SOTB7 premiere - Click on the link at the bottom of this page!
All the pics I used were either from CBS or the Star Advertiser - home of Wendie's Five-0 Redux blog.

If you enjoy all the collages and H50 news, please read my comment below - and then read the latest blog:
http://www.staradvertiser.com/2016/09/23/features/five-0-redux/getting-ready-master-new-game/

Please keep in mind that Wendie and I wouldn't be friends if it wasn't for her Five-0 Redux blogs about the show that made me contact her years ago to tell her how much I love them. Her blogs have always been special because she not only writes about the show itself but also integrates information about the culture, traditions and language of her beloved home Hawai'i. Fans around the globe love the blogs for that - and, of course, because they reflect the love of H50, its cast and Hawai'i - a love that all of us readers share with Wendie.
Anyway - I wouldn't be Five-0 Redux Facebook admin if we weren't friends - and you would get far less news and collages, so keep reading her blogs every week, too. Mahalo!

Off to work...

The German serienjunkies.de website explains how the Jack Lord cameo in the H50 Season 7 premiere was done
If any of you want to practice some German, here's your chance :-) The article is based on an interview by tvline.com with EP Peter in English that I shared earlier. The editors of that German website were also at the SOTB7 in Hawai'i and got interviews with several of the big stars of the show. An article about the SOTB7 and the interviews will get posted this week.

SEPTEMBER 27, 2016:

All H50 fans probably agree that Uncle Chin and his niece Sara, played by Londyn Silzer, are adorable together
That's not only a good reason for this collage but also for fans to keep their fingers crossed for Chin and Sara to get to stay together. None of us want to see Sara go to Mexico to live with her late mother's family there. Since Chin is investigating that family, he might find out some dark secret about them that will disqualify them as adoptive parents for Sara. We'll see...

I hope I didn't miss anything - the internet or my computer keep getting hung up this morning but work's calling...

It's National Beer Day with H50's McDanno - but the poor boys are not allowed to drink beer right now
Since Steve and Danno are still recovering from their liver transplantation, they can't enjoy a beer with you all, so we'll just have to take a look back at these memorable moments :-)

Steve has a new car on the show and fan Eva has posted a photo of it
Steve has a Chevy Silverado again but it's not in the beautiful blue that I loved about his previous car that gets blown up in episode 7.04 - of course, without him in it.

H50 returns to free-TV in Germany but with the very first episodes from Season 1 and on a new channel
From Oct. 15, H50 airs on "Kabel Eins", starting with the pilot episode. If new fans need to catch up, this is a good option  - but long-time fans have certainly bought the DVDs a long time ago. I'm not sure if Sat.1 will ever show the rest of Season 5, or if fans will actually have to wait until several seasons have been repeated on Kabel Eins before Seasons 5 and 6 finally air on German free TV. Considering that Season 7 has already started in the US, German free-TV is lagging far behind!

Fans have welcome the news about the renewed partnership of H50 with the Hilton Hawaiian Village
The hotel resort in Waikiki is quite popular among fans of the show who commented positively about the recent news of CBS's renewal of its cooperation with the resort where you also find an H50 fan shop in the Diamond Head Tower. If you want to get some inspiration for an upcoming trip to Hawai'i, take a look at the recent Five-0 Redux blog about fans travelling to Hawai'i (including myself): https://www.facebook.com/staradvertiser/posts/1289740324370518

The photos used in the collage are all my own - except, of course, the picture from H50 with McDanno. The beach behind the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which was also seen in the Season 6 finale, is beautiful and was one of my favorite spots for walks in Waikiki.

SEPTEMBER 29, 2016:

Happy Throwback Thursday with the great moment of Lou's "adoption" into the Five-0 'ohana in H50 ep. 4.22
Since I didn't have a collage for Chi's birthday last week, I figured it was high time to dedicate a little collage to the man who loves bold colors and brings a lot of fun into the show - which, of course, doesn't mean that he's the only one who makes us smile and laugh - Thankfully, there's always been a good portion of comedic elements on H50 :-)
Did you follow the weekly Five-0 Redux blogs throughout the H50 hiatus this summer? There was one blog dedicated to each one of the main cast members (incl. "giant grasshopper" Chi) - and a few fan-favorite recurring actors.
Here's where you find all the Five-0 Redux blogs:

Enjoy National Coffee Day with Steve - No one looks as sexy as this man making coffee :-)
I loved the "bulletproof coffee" scene in ep. 5.15 with the perfect song playing in the background. I even bought Train's CD "Bulletproof Picasso" so I can listen to it when I'm preparing and having coffee - too bad Steve never joins me in my kitchen. Danno's such a lucky dude!

H50 Boss Peter is excited about a future "Don Ho Show" episode of H50
Here's a video with Jimmy Borges and others talking about Don Ho. This is for fans (like me) who didn't know this obviously famous Hawaiian entertainer:

SEPTEMBER 30, 2016:

Happy Hawaii Five-0 Friday with the new H50 episode 7.02 on CBS and two late-night repeats on TNT
Make sure to tune in to CBS an hour earlier at 8/7c if you want to enjoy even more comedy and action with H50 Boss Peter's new show "MacGyver" which leads in H50 ep. 7.02  "No ke ali'i wahine a me ka 'āina" (For Queen and country). The promo pics make me think that Steve might have more in common with his dead "wannabe brother" Wo Fat than Steve would ever admit.
For further information (summary, promo pics, trailer and sneak peeks) about H50 episode 7.02, please view:
http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/09/hawaii-five-0-episode-702-no-ke-alii.html
Very early on Saturday morning, TNT will show these two episodes:
3 am: Ep. 5.20 'Ike Hānau (Instinct)
4 am: Ep. 5.21 Ua helele'i ka hōkῡ (Fallen star)
For information about the episodes on TNT, please view my page about Season 5

This is obviously not about H50 but I got the impression that fans love Boss Peter's new show "MacGyver", too
Get ready for this Friday's ep. 1.02 with the press release, promo trailers and sneak peeks and enjoy two hours of comedy and action on CBS, starting with MacGyver at 8/7c and followed by H50 episode 7.02:
http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/09/macgyver-episode-102-metal-saw-press.html

P.S.: I know I said I wouldn't promote MacGyver after a certain interview but since the interviewer was stopped from being at the SOTB7 premiere, I'm pretty sure that CBS/H50 have finally understood the message I was sending on behalf of fellow fans - If you read my first posts from this month, you'll know what I mean.

Off to work...
