The incredible journey of Mary Bryant

Australian mini-series consisting of just two (long) episodes.

Alex plays Will Bryant, the husband of Mary. Mary Bryant (actress Romola Garai is great in that role) was a British convict who was shipped to Australia's penal colony Botany Bay which became the first English settlement in Australia.

The fate of Mary and her family is extremely moving and the series is very well done and definitely worth watching.
